Giving should be simple, meaningful, and rewarding

We built 100 Women Strong OHIO on a simple founding philosophy: giving back shouldn’t be complicated or lonely. When you join, the work of vetting, choosing, and delivering impact is shared — and the reward of seeing where your gift goes is shared, too.

We come together

Become one of 100 (and counting) women who commit to giving as a community — because together, we can do more for Northeast Ohio's women and children.

We pool our dollars

Together, our contributions become one shared fund. 100% of all dollars donated goes directly to local nonprofits doing real work for women and children in Northeast Ohio.

We change lives

Twice a year during our Giving Events, members vote on where the funding goes. We award one large grant, plus smaller supporting grants – all within two hours.

What it feels like to be one of us.

Being part of 100 Women Strong helped me discover other people truly in need just in our backyards. The giving events are so well organized and efficient. In just 2-hours, a couple evenings per year, I learn about other ways I can give back to our local community. As an added bonus, I get to socialize with amazing women and walk out knowing we accomplished something important together. It never fails to be a fun evening out that feeds my soul.

When I attended my first tangible giving event in 2019 I left full of emotions. Hearing about the work that 100 Women Strong was doing to make an impact in the lives of those in need made me immediately want to support these efforts. I was unfamiliar with the idea of a giving circle and was thrilled to be able to join with other women who had a passion for supporting causes in our community. The fact that my daughters could be involved in this important work through 100 Girls Strong made me even more excited about supporting the organization. I truly believe that instilling a passion for philanthropy in our children at a young age is incredibly important. I love that we can make an impact together as part of this wonderful organization of strong, compassionate and kind women.

I could be a small part of something so much bigger, it was genius, yet so simple! I love the passion, the mission, and all the amazing women I have met along the way. There is no greater gift than giving back and volunteering your time. 100 Women Strong brings people together to help others, and I love being a part of it. I love being surrounded by so many strong, amazing women. When I leave a 100 Women strong event, I end up feeling just as loved, appreciated, and inspired too, its a win - win for everyone!

I got involved with 100 Woman Strong because I'm committed to giving back to my community. It's a part of who I am, and something I was taught as a child growing up in Youngstown, a community that's very closely connected. I consistently watched family and friends rally around neighbors in need. Living in Hudson, it feels much the same. This organization truly changes lives. By making only a small sacrifice, we're able to collectively make an enormous impact. I hope my children see my husband and I living the same way our parents did and choose to make "paying it forward" a priority in their lives.

Our commitment to Northeast Ohio

100 Women Strong OHIO is rooted in Northeast Ohio, investing directly in the communities we call home. Our grants support programs that strengthen the lives of women, children, and families across the region, from Cleveland’s urban core to the surrounding suburbs and rural townships. Every dollar we grant stays local, fueling the organizations already doing the work on the ground.

The women behind the mission

Jen Yozwiak and MaryJo Clark met at a women’s event and instantly connected over one shared idea: women giving together could do more good than any one of them could alone. That conversation became 100 Women Strong OHIO.

Today, as Co-Presidents, they still show up as volunteers first — leading a community that has granted over $850,000 to more than 60 Northeast Ohio nonprofits, and inspiring the next generation through 100 Girls Strong.
